Riwayah: Jurnal Studi Hadis is a peer-reviewed academic international journal that publishes scholarly articles in the field of hadith studies. It is published biannually by the Program Studi Ilmu Hadis, Fakultas Ushuluddin, Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Kudus, in collaboration with ASILHA (Asosiasi Ilmu Hadis Indonesia).
Riwayah: Jurnal Studi Hadis is dedicated to advancing contemporary original research in the field of hadith and its sciences (‘ulūm al-ḥadīth), utilizing both fieldwork and textual methodologies. The journal serves as an academic platform for scholars and researchers, both nationally and internationally, to engage in critical discourse on hadith studies and Islamic traditions (sunnah). A key focus lies in the examination of hadith texts and their transmission (sanad), employing interdisciplinary approaches that draw from diverse fields, including law, philosophy, mysticism, history, art, theology, sociology, anthropology, political science, and economics. By fostering innovative scholarship, the journal seeks to deepen the understanding of hadith and its multifaceted applications.
