The Journal of English Teaching and Learning Issues (JETLI) was established to provide a reputable, open-access platform for scholarly discourse on English language pedagogy, applied linguistics, and related English educational research in Islamic settings. Since its inception, the journal has been committed to disseminating high-quality research without imposing financial barriers on authors, maintaining a policy of no article submission and publication fees (absent of Article Processing Charges [APCs]).
JETLI was founded in 2017 by Tadris Bahasa Inggris IAIN Kudus, with the aim of fostering innovation and critical discussion in English language teaching (ELT) and learning within Islamic settings. Over the years, it has grown into a recognized academic venue, featuring empirical studies, theoretical contributions, and practical insights from educators and researchers worldwide.
