Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

Authors intending to submit manuscripts to the journal website must complete an online registration independently via the “Register” menu. If any difficulties arise, authors may contact the editorial secretariat via email at: [email protected]
.

After registration, authors should proceed with the manuscript submission process until it is successfully completed, indicated by an “active submission” status.

Manuscripts must be prepared in accordance with the Jurnal Bisnis manuscript template.

Citations and references must be managed using a reference management application, such as Mendeley.

Authors are prohibited from submitting the same manuscript to another journal publisher prior to receiving confirmation from the editor or editorial secretariat (within a maximum of three weeks after the manuscript has been submitted and received by the editor).

Authors must wait for the editor’s decision (initial screening results) as well as the reviewers’ recommendations within the specified timeframe.

Authors are required to comply with and adhere to the reviewers’ recommendations and the editor’s decisions.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The manuscript has not been previously submitted to or published in any other publication, whether in print or electronic form.
  2. The manuscript topic must align with the aims and scope of Jurnal BISNIS: Journal of Islamic Business and Management.
  3. The manuscript abstract must be written in two languages: English and Indonesian.
  4. The manuscript keywords must be written in English, with a minimum of three and a maximum of seven keywords.

  5. The manuscript must be written and prepared in accordance with the Jurnal BISNIS manuscript template

  6. The manuscript should be between 15 and 20 pages in length.
  7. The manuscript must include a minimum of 10 scholarly references, comprising at least 80% primary sources and 20% secondary sources. Primary sources include journal articles, conference proceedings/papers, research reports, undergraduate theses, master’s theses, and dissertations, while secondary sources include general books and internet sources.
