Respon Hadis Terhadap Budaya Masyarakat Arab

Abstract

Hadis Nabi, baik yang berupa ucapan (qauli), perbuatan (Fi’li) maupun persetujuan (taqriri) muncul tidak dari masyarakat yang hampa budaya. Hadis muncul sebagai respon terhadap berbagai peradaban dan kebudayan orang Arab pada waktu itu. Cara Hadis merespon peradaban dan kebudayaan pada waktu itu tidak dirombak begitu saja, tetapi Hadis merespon peradaban dan kebudayaan tersebut dengan melalui tiga model yaitu Model Tahmil, Taghyir dan Tahrim. Model Tahmil adalah menerima dan menyempurnakan budaya lokal dengan cara-cara yang elegan dan Islami. Model Taghyir adalah Menerima keberadaan tradisi, tetapi Hadis mengubah atau merekontruksi tata cara pelaksanaannya. Sedang model Tahrim adalah Hadis secara tegas melarang atau menghentikan pelaksanannya, karena tradisi ini bertentangan dengan ajaran Islam.

The hadith of the Prophet, whether in the form of utterance (qauli), deed (Fi’li) and approval (taqriri) did not arise from a void society. The hadith emerged in response to the various civilizations and the culture of the Arabs at that time. The way the Hadith responded to civilization and culture at that time was not overhauled, but Hadis responded to civilization and culture through three models of Tahmil, Taghyir and Tahrim. Tahmil’s model is to accept and perfect the local culture in elegant and Islamic ways. Taghyir model is to accept the existence of tradition,but Hadith alter or reconstruct the procedure of its implementation. Moderate Tahrim model is the Hadith that strictly prohibit or stop its implementation, because the tradition is contrary to the teachings of Islam.
