AKTUALISASI PENDEKATAN CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL) PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATA KULIAH METODOLOGI PENELITIAN PENDIDIKAN DI STAIN KUDUS TAHUN 2016

Abstract


The purposes of this study are: (1) to know the level of students’ understanding in collecting facts data and events in the form of description (sentences and paragraphs), (2) to know whether the students get the meaningful data from the observation results, interviews, and documentation that was conducted (3) to know whether the students are able to acquire an interesting/special even unique and suitable research locus that is eligible to be used as the writing material of the final study. This research is a classroom action research or self action research on a Qualitative Education Research Methodology Subject in STAIN Kudus. The results of this study are: (1) students got the ease of understanding of the abstract concepts to the empirical descriptive in a qualitative research, because contextually they undergo by themselves from planning, implementation to reporting the type of activity observation of physical, events, open ended interviews, and search the documentation of the process of collecting data and facts on the ground, (2) the students obtained the ability to distinguish the regular data and the meaningful data so they are able to perform the process of collecting of data, data display, and data reduction both empirically and contextually, (3) the students acquired the ability to obtain an interesting/special even unique and suitable research locus that is eligible to be used as the writing material of the final study based on meaningful event observations that emits and clarify the concept of the variables substance that has been determined in the study. Besides, this approach make an ease for students to formulate (a) the background of the problem, (b) refers to the theories that will become a bridge of introduction in research, (c) establishes the basic assumptions based on the facts on the ground to crystalize into a frame of mind, (d) to localize the conical theme in the establishment of research titles.
