Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of Islamic workplace spirituality on the achievement of educational quality in madrasahs, both directly and indirectly through basic psychological needs satisfaction and autonomous motivation. The results of the measurement model evaluation indicate that all research variables have excellent reliability and confirmed validity. Meanwhile, the structural model shows that Islamic spirituality does not have a direct effect on educational quality achievement, but it positively influences it through autonomous motivation and psychological needs satisfaction. The variable of psychological needs satisfaction is found to be the most influential mediator in enhancing educational quality. These findings support the JD-R and SDT theories, suggesting that Islamic spirituality functions as a personal resource affecting performance. This research also emphasizes the importance of integrating spiritual values in human resource management in madrasahs to enhance educational quality. Future development directions include exploring spiritual practices in daily education and the relationship between spirituality and teachers' professional development.
