Abstract

This research aims to determine the diversity of dragonflies in the Imam Nahrawi Stadium, UIN Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember. This stadium is an open space with green grass and is located next to the Bedadung river. Samples were taken in two parts, namely the edge of the stadium and the middle of the stadium. Sampling was carried out in June 2022, using the field by field method at the specified location. The dragonflies obtained were identified for their morphological characteristics and counted using the Shannon-Wiener diversity index formula. The results of the research show a diversity index of 0,61 wich means the level of dragonfly diversity at the Imam Nahrawi stadium is relatively low. This shows that the stadium environment is less supportive for the productivity of dragonflies, most of the vegetation in the stadium is grass, while the vegetation on the edge of the stadium adjacent to the river is small in number and is made worse by the dirty condition of the river.
