YUDISIA: Jurnal Pemikiran Hukum dan Hukum Islam was first published in 2007 by the Ahwal Syakhshiyyah Study Program, Faculty of Sharia, formerly under the Sharia Department of STAIN Kudus. The journal serves as an academic platform for lecturers, researchers, scholars, students, and practitioners to disseminate and discuss scholarly works, research findings, and contemporary issues related to law and Islamic law in accordance with the journal’s focus and scope.
Since its establishment, YUDISIA has been officially registered with ISSN 1907-7262 (Print) and E-ISSN 2477-5339 (Online). The journal has continuously improved its academic quality and editorial management to strengthen its national and international reputation. YUDISIA previously achieved SINTA 3 accreditation and, based on the Decree of the Directorate General of Research and Development, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 0110/C3/DT.05.00/2026, the journal has successfully been reaccredited and upgraded from SINTA 3 to SINTA 2. This accreditation applies from Volume 15 Number 2 Year 2024 until Volume 20 Number 1 Year 2029.
YUDISIA is published biannually in June and December. The journal provides a forum for the sharing, dissemination, and critical discussion of research, experiences, and perspectives across a broad range of legal and Islamic legal studies. The focus and scope of YUDISIA: Jurnal Pemikiran Hukum dan Hukum Islam include Islamic Law as Living Law, Family Law, Law and Society Studies, Penal Law (Fiqh Jinayah) and Criminology, Jurisprudence, Islamic Astronomy Observatory, and Worship Fiqh.
All manuscripts submitted to YUDISIA undergo a rigorous editorial process, including initial screening, peer review, and substantive editing to ensure academic integrity and publication quality. The editorial board welcomes contributions from lecturers, educators, researchers, scholars, and students in the fields of law and Islamic law.
