Abstract


Cooperative script strategies are learning strategies used to improve students' memory. The purpose of this study is to find out the extent of the effectiveness of the cooperative script strategy in the reading skills of MAN 2 Kudus school students for the 2023-2024 school year. This type of research is an experimental research with a quantitative descriptive approach to statistics. The data collection method uses tests.  The result of this study was that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted on the basis of the T paired sample test with a sig 2 tailed value of 0.00 < 0.05. The effectiveness can be seen from the N Gain of 56.997%, which is quite effective. As for the T independent N test, the value of sig.2 tailed 0.00 < 0.05, with the conclusion that there is a positive difference in the effectiveness of cooperative script strategies in the reading skills of MAN 2 Kudus students
