The Influence of Using Monopoly Game Media on Vocabulary Mastery

Abstract


As for the research results: How were the students’ ability to control the vocabulary of the seventh grade in the government secondary school 5 muaro Jambi before using the Monopoly Game, based on the results of the pre-test in the experimental class 66,78 In the control class, the mean is 1752, indicating that the results of the pre-test on vocabulary mastery in the experimental class and the control class are still weak. The use of The Monopoly Game on vocabulary mastery of the seventh grade students at Public High School 5 muaro Jambi was of three steps: introductory, main and final activities with a value of 3.6 with a good rating.There is an effect of using the Monopoly Game on vocabulary mastery of the seventh grade students in the public high school. Mwaro Jambi based on the results of the post-test in the experimental class with a mean of 81,02 In the control class, at a rate of 73,08 From the previous table the value is 13,604 t At the value (Sig 2-tailed) which is 0,00 And lower than 0,05 The researcher concluded that hypothesis Ho is rejected and hypothesis Ha is accepted.
