تطبيق الطريقة المباشرة لترقية مهارة الكلام في المدرسة الإسلامية الرحنى سيتو بيكاسي

Abstract


Some people claim that the Arabic language is the most difficult language in the world, and that proficiency in it requires many years to learn its rules and methods and form its sentences in the linguistic structure. Speech skill is one of the complex linguistic skills. It requires an authentic environment for the language, as well as the speaker’s understanding of its rules theoretically and practically. This research aimed to determine the effectiveness of the direct method for improving speaking skills in the Arruhana Primary School, Setu, Bekasi. It was conducted on 28  students at fifth class of primary school. The type of research is classroom research. The analysis used was that of action research by Kemmis and Mc Taggart, which consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data were collected through observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. It is expected that the results of this research is that each student's score reaches the final percentage above 70%. The research result showed that the average score of students who mastered the speaking skill before work was 60.18%. This rate in the first cycle reached 69.46%, and in the second cycle it reached 80.18%. Therefore, it was stated that the hypothesis can be accepted, and that the direct method is effective in improving Arabic speaking skill.
