SIKAP DAN PEMAKNAAN PEREMPUAN MARGINAL TERHADAP POLITIK UANG: Studi Kasus Pemilu Tahun 2014 di Kabupaten Kudus

Abstract

Fokus tulisan ini adalah sikap dan pemaknaan perempuan marginal terhadap praktik politik uang pada pemilu tahun 2014 di Kabupaten Kudus. Ada tiga sikap perempuan marginal terhadap politik uang. Pertama, bersikap menolak politik uang. Kedua, menerima politik uang dan menjadikan uang sebagai faktor penentu pilihan politiknya. Ketiga, menerima politik uang tetapi tidak mempengaruhi pilihan politiknya. Sikap-sikap tersebut terkait dengan bagaimana perempuan-perempuan tersebut mendefinisikan dan memaknai politik uang itu sendiri. Kelompok pertama memaknai politik uang sebagai suap atau dalam Islam disebut risywah. Risywah di dalam Islam hukumnya haram sebagaimana sabda Nabi Muhammad saw. bahwa orang yang menyuap dan menerima suap akan masuk neraka. Kelompok kedua dan ketiga yaitu mereka yang menerima politik uang memaknai politik uang sebagai rezeki yang tidak mungkin ditolak. Politik uang juga dimaknai sebagai bagi-bagi uang yang memang harus dikeluarkan oleh seorang calon. Adapun faktor yang melatarbelakangi sikap dan pemaknaan perempuan terhadap politik uang adalah latar belakang agama, latar belakang pendidikan, lingkungan tempat tinggal, independensi/relasi suami-istri, dan status sosial.

MARGINAL WOMENS ATTITUDES AND CONTEMPLATIONS TOWARDS THE MONEY POLITICS: A CASE STUDY OF THE GENERAL ELECTIONS IN 2014 IN KUDUS REGENCY. The focus of this paper is the attitude and the contemplation of marginal women towards money politic practices in the general election in 2014 in Kudus. There are three marginal womens attitudes towards money politics. First, refuse the money politics. Second, receive the money politics and make money as a political choice determinant. Third, receive the money politics but does not affect their political options. Such attitudes are related to how the women define and interpret the money politics itself. The first group interprets the money politics as a bribe or in Islam called risywah. Risywah is in Islam is haram (forbidden). It was said by the Prophet Muhammad PBUH that people who bribe and accepting a bribe will enter the hell. The second and third groups, they are who receive the money politics define it as the unlikely declined fortune. Money politics is also defined as money dividing that must be issued by a candidate. Some factors which influenced the womens attitude and contemplation towards money politics are religious background, educational background, place of residence, independence/ spouses relationship, and social status.
